Camomilla is a chamomile grappa liqueur from Distilleria Gualco, the family distillery in Silvano d'Orba, Piedmont, that has made grappa in direct-fire copper stills since 1870. It combines the house grappa, distilled from red Piedmontese grape pomace, with delicate chamomile flowers, macerated together for a minimum of three months and then rested in glass and stainless steel. Bottled at a bold 42% ABV in a 750ml bottle.The taste is floral and soothing chamomile with honeyed sweetness over the warm, grapey backbone of the grappa, finishing long and gently spiced.
