Oban 11 Year Old Special Release 2023 is a cask-strength edition of Diageo's annual Special Releases, part of the "Spirited Xchange" collection, and a rare chance to taste one of Scotland's oldest and smallest distilleries at full natural strength. Founded in 1794 between the mountains and the sea in the West Highland harbor town that grew around it, Oban makes very little whisky, and Special Releases like this are snapped up by collectors.Bottled at cask strength, it glistens warm amber and opens with honey and malted barley giving way to dried fruit, orchard apple and a subtle hint of maritime salt, then a silky, medium-bodied palate of sweet honey and citrus followed by oak, brine and a delicate whisper of smoke with vanilla and toffee, finishing long with gentle warmth and a memory of sea air. A one-time bottling for Oban devotees and a striking gift.Buy Oban 11 Year Cask Strength Special Release 2023 Highland Single Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.
