Other Products ｜Efficient Space: Oz Waves (80s Australian DIY) Vinyl LP

Esoteric sounds from the Down Underground compiled by odd wave anthropologist Steele Bonus. Efficient Space continues to drop some truly compelling bits of the not too distant past. Oz Waves: Compiled by Steele Bonus continues the trend, mining the depths of Australia's 80s DIY musical underground. Sourced mainly from limited run cassettes, the songs featured here feel remarkably timeless. Mutant synth punk, minimal wave, industrial dub and tape loop experiments point to the fertility of Australia's DIY scene at the time. Sydney's Steele Bonus, known for his Odd Waves mixer series, has done a bang up job putting the compilation together. Ten tracks in all. Includes detailed track by track notes.
