Freeland Spirits Forest Gin is a love letter to Forest Park, one of the largest urban forest reserves in the country, which sits just five blocks from the women-owned Portland, Oregon distillery founded by Jill Kuehler. Where Freeland's blue-bottle gin highlights Oregon's farms, Forest Gin features ingredients sourced from the nearby woods: chanterelle mushrooms, Douglas fir tips, salal berries and nettles, distilled on a rotovap to keep them fresh.Bottled at 90 proof, it captures a walk through the woods in a glass: Douglas fir and pine resin on the nose with juniper, earthy chanterelle and a green nettle freshness, then a savory, layered palate of forest berries, soft umami depth and citrus brightness, finishing clean and woodsy. It makes a remarkable Martini with a lemon twist, a Gin and Tonic with rosemary, and an unforgettable gift for hikers, foragers and Pacific Northwest lovers.Buy Freeland Spirits Forest Gin online with fast shipping right to your door.
