The Bloody Beetroots: Warp feat. Steve Aoki - Ten Year Anniversary (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 2x12"｜ Other Products

"Listen how crazy it sounds if I push the limiter hard when the kick pounds." - Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo aka The Bloody Beetroots, fall of 2008. "Warp 1.9" is the definitive sound of late-aughts electro, three minutes and thirty seconds of relentless dancefloor assault. Raw and abrasive, Bob & Steve fully embrace noise and distortion, blending in rock & punk elements into electronic music; this obviously had an impact on a lot of the production that followed, both in the electro scene and on the wider, more mainstream scale. The energy the track conjures has not faltered (lowkey think the record will still work for EDM rooms, @ us if anyone's tried), and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the seminal collab, Dim Mak brings it back as a limited-edition deluxe double 12-inch clear vinyl. 2000 copies only and includes other iterations of the song: "Warp 2.0," "Warp 1977," and "Warp 7.7."
