A Little Inspiration｜ Other Products ｜Château de Pellehaut Blanche d'Armagnac

Château de Pellehaut Blanche d'Armagnac is the unaged expression of Armagnac, a category with its own AOC since 2005. Made by the Béraut family at their estate in the Ténarèze, it is distilled from Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes in the traditional Armagnac column still and rested in neutral vessels rather than oak, so it stays crystal clear.Without wood, the spirit shows the grape in full: vibrant pear, white peach and fresh grape on the nose with a subtle floral bouquet, a clean, lively palate with a hint of almond, and a crisp finish. Gascon bartenders treat it like a white spirit with more personality than vodka: serve it ice-cold, in a highball with tonic, or in place of pisco or grappa in a sour. This 750ml bottle is a fun, versatile spirit and a great way to taste what Armagnac is before the barrel gets involved.
