Product description
SpecStrip is a chemically reactive, mineral oil-based release agent engineered to prevent concrete adhesion to forms and liners
SpecStrip contains no waxes or silicones, delivering enhanced formwork release, reduced concrete buildup, and protection against rust and residue for clean, stain-free results.
Key Features & Benefits
Zero waxes or silicones
Enhanced formwork release with reduced concrete buildup
Protects against rust and residue
Performs well in cold temperatures
Reduces surface voids and extends wood form lifespan
Complies with VOC emission standards for form releases (<250 g/L)
Application Instructions
Ready to use — do not dilute
Ensure form surfaces are free of dirt, rust, scale, and concrete buildup
Apply rates vary by surface: 2,000 sq ft/gal for steel, plastic, and fiberglass; 1,000 sq ft/gal for dimensional lumber and BB grade plywood
Use an atomizing or misting spray tip for a thin, uniform film; avoid over-application
Leaves a smooth, architectural concrete surface ready for coatings, without residue or staining
