Absolut Wild Berri is the newest fruit in the Absolut family, launched in 2020 as a mixed-berry blend built for the way people actually drink vodka now: in a soda, in a spritz, over ice. Made in Åhus, Sweden, where Absolut has distilled since 1879 — continuous column distillation of locally grown winter wheat with water from the village's deep well — it's flavored with a natural blend of wild berries, strawberry and blueberry forward, with no added sugar, bottled at 40% ABV. Expect a fresh, fruity nose of ripe strawberry and blueberry with a faint hedgerow note of blackberry, opening into a smooth, clean palate where the berries read like a handful of fresh fruit rather than jam, the wheat base keeping it soft and rounded, finishing crisp and dry. Honest note: it's a flavored vodka, and purists should reach for the original or Elyx — but among the fruit flavors this is the crowd-pleaser, built for a Wild Berri and soda with a squeeze of lime, a berry Mule, a berry lemonade spike, a mixed-berry Cosmopolitan, or a summer spritz with prosecco and mint. Drink Lab calls the flavored range genuinely useful, and Wild Berri sits alongside Raspberri, Mango, Pears, and Peach as the fruit family's most versatile pour.
