Before Pen & Pixel became the defining visual force behind Southern rap, founder Shawn Brauch was developing his craft inside Rap-A-Lot Records, where early Photoshop experimentation, storyboard work, and design innovation first took shape. This original hand-corrected proof set for Scarface’s *Money and the Power* captures that formative period in real time, a one-of-one production artifact featuring handwritten edits, corrections, and evidence of the creative process behind a foundational Rap-A-Lot release.More than a cover proof, this is a rare BTS document from the transition point where rap artwork began evolving from traditional design into digitally constructed world-building. A studio relic from the origins of Pen & Pixel’s visual language.
