Laphroaig 10 Year Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky｜ Other Products

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is the original and most famous expression of Islay's most divisive distillery, founded in 1815 by the Johnston brothers on the island's south coast and holder of a Royal Warrant from King Charles III since his days as Prince of Wales. Laphroaig still floor-malts part of its barley and dries it over its own peat, then matures the 10 Year in ex-bourbon casks, distilled the same way Ian Hunter made it nearly a century ago.Bottled at 86 proof, it leads with a bold, medicinal peat smoke that Laphroaig fans call "peat reek," then seaweed, iodine and brine, followed by a surprising sweetness of vanilla and soft fruit and a long, drying, smoky finish. Jim Murray's Whisky Bible named it 2019 Best Single Malt Scotch 10 Years and Under. Love it or hate it, it is the benchmark peated Scotch and an essential bottle for any whisky shelf.Buy Laphroaig 10 Year Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
