Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Rye Whiskey 'SDBB #1' is a private-selection single barrel of Knob Creek Rye, hand-picked at the James B. Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. The Single Barrel Select program lets retailers and whiskey clubs taste through barrels in the rickhouse and choose one to bottle exclusively, and this pick came from Warehouse 5, Floor 6, Rick 026, barreled on February 6, 2017 and selected on July 29, 2022, making it roughly five and a half years old.Knob Creek Single Barrel Rye is bottled at 115 proof, well above the standard 100 proof Knob Creek Rye, so a single barrel like this shows the full weight of Beam's rye recipe: heavy on rye spice, black pepper and oak with the caramel, vanilla and toasted nut sweetness Knob Creek is known for. Because it is one barrel, the bottle count is limited and once it is gone that exact whiskey is gone for good. A great pour for Knob Creek fans and single-barrel collectors, neat or with a single cube.Buy Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Rye Whiskey 'SDBB #1' online with fast shipping right to your door.
