Corsair Dark Rye American Rye Malt Whiskey is one of the more inventive ryes in America, from Corsair Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, a craft pioneer known for its experimental grain bills and its Triple Smoke malt. Formerly sold as Ryemageddon, Dark Rye is made from a mash of 61% malted rye, 4% malted chocolate rye and 35% malted barley, a recipe borrowed from brewing that brings the roasted, cocoa-tinged character of a dark beer into whiskey.
