The new walker scarf embodies the commitment to prevent micro plastics by using a 100% natural wool fabric and local tailoring made in Austria. The walker is woven like a knit and felted like a Loden, creating a uniquely balanced fabric that does not wrinkle, and remains extremely lightweight while protecting and regulating body temperature.
The first instances of this garment were discovered in official sales documents dating back to the Middle Ages, when a local Austrian craftsman started producing this special wool fabric. The Walker became an iconic garment, presenting extremely modern features to this day.
A new krokus flower embroidery reinvents this classic ornamental detail in historical alpine costume, traditionally worn by men only. The krokus flower is the first of the year to bloom from the snow and to coat mountain pastures.
