Foss Distillery Bjork Birch Liqueur｜ Other Products

Björk is the Icelandic word for birch — and Foss Distillery's flagship liqueur is a genuine attempt to bottle the experience of Iceland itself. Created by sommelier Ólafur Örn Ólafsson and celebrated chef Gunnar Karl Gíslason, co-owners of Reykjavík's renowned Dill restaurant, Björk was born from a singular vision — to capture the sensation of a bright Icelandic summer night at the moment when a rain shower clears and morning dew settles on the birch-clad hills. Handcrafted from vacuum-distilled grain spirit, infused with Icelandic birch sprigs hand-picked in spring from a half-century-old forest at the foot of Haukafell Mountain, and finished with birch syrup from eastern Iceland — a birch branch floats in every bottle as a nod to the forest it came from. The nose is smoky, bittersweet, and aromatic with earthy wild fruits, while the palate delivers woodsy and spicy character elegantly softened by burnt caramel sweetness — described by tasters as walking through a pristine birch forest wrapped in warm furs. Bottled at 27.5% ABV. Best served straight, on the rocks, or with club soda as a post-dinner indulgence. Buy Foss Björk Birch Liqueur online with fast shipping right to your door.
