Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 Year Old Rye Whiskey 2023 is the rye from the Van Winkle family lineup, the most sought-after whiskey collection in America, produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. At thirteen years old it is one of the oldest rye whiskeys on the market, bottled at 95.6 proof, and it is released once a year each fall in quantities so small that most bottles are spoken for before they reach a shelf.Breaking Bourbon gave it a perfect 5 out of 5, calling it delicious and memorable and one of the finest ryes available: vanilla, caramel and fresh wood on a bourbon-like nose, rye spice leading into caramel, vanilla, burnt brown sugar and fresh wood on the palate, and a medium finish of lingering sweetness, praising how you can taste the age without it being overdone. The Van Winkles describe a soft nose of chestnut, spice, vanilla and fruit, flavors of cocoa, vanilla, spice and white pepper, and a long, complex finish of caramel, spice and dry oak. Spirits writer Paul Pacult called it a truly unique and rewarding rye whiskey experience.Buy Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 Year Old Rye Whiskey 2023 online with fast shipping right to your door.
