A Thoughtful Choice｜Gibson Songwriter Recording Artist Left-Handed｜ Other Products

Whether you’re a guitarist supporting the band on stage or a singer searching for your 6-string partner, the Gibson Acoustic Songwriter Recording Artist delivers the big, bold sound of an all-time Gibson classic. This acoustic-electric guitar is crafted with the finest tone woods Bozeman has to offer, featuring a thermally aged slab of Sitka spruce that provides a broken-in resonance from the first strum. Next, 1930s-style scalloped Advanced wide X-bracing and a long 25.5-inch scale length grant a deep and authoritative projection. Rosewood back and sides round out the Songwriter Recording Artist’s square-shouldered form with a hard-hitting low-end thump, crisp treble definition, and ample overtones. On the other end, the mahogany neck wears a comfortable Round profile and a premium ebony fingerboard, topped with elegant binding and Advanced Jumbo-inspired inlays. And despite its studio-centric name, the Songwriter Recording Artist’s LR Baggs Hi-Fi electronics utilize dual bridge plate sensors and an organic-sounding preamp to deliver authentic acoustic tones when you plug in for live performances. You also get a high-end set of visual upgrades, including a bound headstock with a rosewood veneer, gold Grover tuners, an ebony bridge inlaid with mother-of-pearl, and a white abalone rosette. Put it all together, and the Gibson Acoustic Songwriter Recording Artist strikes a perfect balance between modern performance and historic Gibson craftsmanship.
