Product description
Lascaux Black Coating for Hard Resist forms part of the Lascaux Acrylic Resist Etching system. It is designed to paint on top of the transparent Lascaux hard resist to aid with the visibility of working through it.
Guide drawings can be laid on top with pencils or by tracing. The coating will remain water-soluble when dry and is not acid-resistant. When the drawing is complete, the coloured coating is washed away with water from the surface of the Lascaux Hard resist before etching takes place.
Lascaux Black Coating has been created to evoke traditional smoked grounds.
