Larceny Barrel Proof Batch A124 Bourbon Whiskey｜ Other Products

Larceny Barrel Proof A124 is the January 2024 batch at 124.2 proof — six-to-eight-year wheated Heaven Hill bourbon straight from the barrel, the spiciest batch of its year. Larceny is Heaven Hill's wheated bourbon — 68% corn, 20% wheat, 12% malted barley, the Old Fitzgerald recipe — named for the treasury agent who used his warehouse keys to help himself to the best barrels; Barrel Proof launched in 2020 in three batches a year, lettered A, B, and C with the month and year. A124 is Kentucky straight bourbon from the wheated mashbill, aged six to eight years in the Bardstown rickhouses, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 124.2 proof. The series profile: toasted bread, maple, and cinnamon on the nose, rich molasses with fig and hazelnut on the palate, and a nuanced finish fading into lingering warmth; A124 leans hardest into the spice — Breaking Bourbon noted it emphasizes cinnamon and pepper over the sweeter batches — with the wheat's caramel underneath and a long, hot, drying finish. Spirits Review found a big, bold, barrel-forward batch. Honest note: Larceny Barrel Proof is the enthusiast's wheater — Weller Full Proof strength at a third of the price — and A124 is the batch for the drinker who likes their wheated bourbon with an edge; a back batch that won't be reissued. Neat, a few drops of water. Larceny, A124.Buy Larceny Barrel Proof Batch A124 online with fast shipping right to your door.
