Rhum Clément Bana Canne is one of the most original and thoughtfully crafted liqueurs to come out of Martinique in years — a bottle that celebrates two of the island's most important agricultural products while pioneering a genuinely new approach to sustainable spirits production. Bana Canne celebrates the two primary agricultural trades of Martinique — sugarcane and bananas — which are grown together on the Clément estate, with the two crops rotated to refresh essential nutrients in the soil. Born after an American bartender's visit to the island in 2017, this unprecedented partnership between Rhum Clément and Kadalys — an innovative women-owned Martinican skincare company specializing in banana science — uses innovative low-energy extraction techniques to upcycle bananas that would otherwise go to waste, transforming them into a vibrant, all-natural banana extract macerated in unaged AOC-certified rhum agricole with a touch of pure cane syrup. The nose reveals generous fresh banana subtly enhanced by sweet spices and star anise, while the palate delivers fruity sweetness on a base rich in peeled banana, with a tangy, vegetal touch of agricole grassiness bringing seductive freshness, finishing with lingering banana, vanilla, and a whisper of white pepper. The most interesting banana liqueur in the market — and genuinely unlike anything else. Buy Rhum Clément Bana Canne Banana Liqueur online with fast shipping right to your door.
